My boss, Lucas Meeker, and I got a lead on some Mouvedre grapes from Mendocino. Very good quality grower. We both need additional grapes to make up for the the small yields from our other sources.
Grenache Blanc grapes were harvested and delivered to the winery today. First impression is better quality than last year, which produced a lovely wine. However, the yield was low, about .8 ton for the entire block which produced 3+ tons last year. Gotta love the drought and 120 degree days!
